Meet your newest Hometown Hero, Flower Mound! Lance Corporal Edwin Adams enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during his senior year at Marcus High School in 2020. After completing basic training, Edwin began training to become a Flight Equipment Technician, which he graduated as in August 2021.
Edwin is currently stationed at Camp Pendleton as part of the HMLA 369 “The Gunfighters” squadron. During his time as a Marine, Edwin has been certified as an expert shooter and is a gray belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). He is also trained on how to maintain and repair safety systems on Marine aircraft.
Edwin's family joined us at the Nov. 21 Town Council meeting, and Edwin was even able to participate from afar on FaceTime. Thank you for your service, Edwin! We know you have a bright future ahead.
